12/6/2023 0 Comments Freedom planet 2 cory![]() ![]() ![]() Now, I wish that we knew a bit more on Cory, but what we do know is fine and easy to use for discussion. She’s got so many different abilities, piloting skills that few can match, and will accomplish her tasks for even the shadiest of clients no matter what it takes. But that is pure speculation as I have no context with the game not being out of anything for the moment.Īfter everything I went over, I can safely say that Cory is set to be a well rounded character based on her many characteristics as well as her being able to hold her own against those who want her down. Personally, this makes me think that Cory will make a heel face turn on Merga after learning her true intentions and choosing to help her sister over her former client. However, Avalice Archives also says that Cory will fight Carolif she has no other choice, showing how determined she is to complete her goals, which I can honestly respect with Cory having all of this to worry about. While the evidence is slim as Cory wants Carol to stay out of her affairs, this is likely Cory just wanting to keep Carol safe especially since the two don’t really seem to hold resentment aside from being on opposite sides. Now, I feel that the “B” option is plausible as Cory presumably does care about Carol. She could end up having a redemption later in the game. The incident happens pretty early in the game. On top of that, the Sigwada (meaning ‘storm’ in Filipino), her airship, is the fourth stage in ‘Freedom Planet 2’, which shows that: For example, like I mentioned earlier, Cory has had a history of working for shady clients besides Merga, so she’s probably Numero Uno on a couple people’s hit lists already. Like I mentioned in the beginning, Cory’s role will be somewhat of an antagonist and possibly an antihero (well, antiheroine in this case). However, since this obviously has no relevance, let us continue on and find out more about Cory. So, in some ways, she’s sorta like Han Solo before he joined the Rebel Alliance in ‘Star Wars’, except she is female, is a wildcat, is not in space, and doesn’t pilot a “hunk of junk”. Merga isn’t the first client Cory has worked with that seems rather untrustworthy. She is a pilot with a history of working for shady clients like Merga, who hires her to transport her troops and supplies.” You read that right. So, as always, according to Avalice Archives, Cory “is the older sister of Carol Tea. Now, first we need an idea on who Cory is. So, without further to do, let’s rock and roll! That said, expect a lot of Star Fox references as Cory gives me a lot of Star Fox vibes. Cory will leap and run through the walls while firing her pistol upon landing on the Jump Pad, so the player has to be precise when dealing damage to her as they fall.I know I already put this in the title, but I thought I’d make it dramatic anyway. However, upon depleting half of her health, Cory smashes the floor with her Jump Pad, sending the player falling through the elevator shaft, where the remainder of the battle is fought in a free fall. The fight starts off similarly as the Airship Sigwada fight, with Cory dashing across the walls and firing her pistol at the player. Merga demands that she take them down, though she doesn't want to hurt her little sister in particular as that wasn't part of their deal but was forced to anyway, beginning the second boss battle against her (and Carol's only boss encounter against her). She confronts Team Lilac after they make it up the elevator. She will use the Jump Pads in this area to swiftly move around the room.Ĭory will make many remarks during this battle.Ĭorazon is fought again as the end-boss of the Bakunawa stage, Clockwork Arboretum, under the name Corazon 2.0. This can easily be dodged by jumping overhead. After Aaa leaves, the two sisters talk and explain their being here, but the conversation was cut short as the rest of Team Lilac shows up, forcing Corazon to retreat, using a decoy to make her escape.Ĭorazon leaps and runs around the room, firing off her pistol, which has a spread range. Suddenly, Corazon appears, and she and Carol are surprised to see each other. Instead, after Carol finds Pangu, she is confronted by Aaa, who grabs Pangu and readies himself to attack Carol. This boss fight doesn't happen in Carol's story. And after a bit of dialogue between her and her opponent, an elevator raises them up to the roof where they do battle. Once Lilac, Milla or Neera reach the room where Pangu is kept, Cory confronts the intruders herself. Corazon is the end-boss of Airship Sigwada, being the final boss of the story arc: "Sky Pirate Panic!". ![]()
